I've known Dr. Keller for 17 years. During that time, he has treated all of my animals...dogs, cats, cows, goats, pigs and horses. What sets Dr. Keller apart, in my opinion, is that he truly cares about each animal he treats... and he cares about the owners. My animals are my "babies" and he treats them all with the same care and compassion that I do. The entire staff at Plantation Veterinary Clinic, is a top-notch team of professionals. I feel very fortunate to have them to administer all of my animals' health care needs.

I have known Dr. Keller for quite a long time.  I was still young, so it's been quite some time ago since I first met him.  My dog Earnhardt was my best friend.  He was a black lab mix with terrible skin problems and a weight issue.  I remember when the exam room door opened, Dr. Keller called out, come on in Ernie and let's take a look at you.  Little Ernie did not take to kindly to veterinarians, that was not the case.  He took to Dr. Keller very quickly.  Ernie had been seen by other veterinarians, but not one of them had ever gotten to the root of Ernie's problem.  Right off,

Dr. Keller knew exactly what to do, the right tests and the right treatment.  He educated me on why this was happening and what to do to prevent it.  Dr. Keller also told me that I was "loving him to death", so I quit giving him so many treats.  He advised me when the right time was to neuter Ernie, since he thought he owned the house and his behavior proved that.  Dr. Keller was in Ernie's life all the way until the end.  On New Year's Eve morning 2008, Ernie collapsed on the living room floor.  The office was closed.  So, I called Dr. Keller on his cell phone.  He was on his way back from Elizabethtown.  As he listened to me cry my heart out, he told me he would be there as soon as he could.  There was no way I could have lifted Ernie, so Dr. Keller came to the house and did a brief exam.  At that point, Dr. Keller was honest and told me it did not look good.  He carried Ernie to his truck and gave me a moment to tell him goodbye.  After doing x-rays at the clinic, Dr. Keller found three large masses had formed.  I knew that I wanted to do the right thing for Ernie, but I could not be there.  My heart could not take it.  I asked Dr. Keller to tell Ernie goodbye and how much I loved him.  I know he did that for me.  I had Ernie cremated and Plantation Veterinary Clinic took care of all the arrangements for me.

Dr. Keller has always taken care of all my animals and still does, all three of them.  If ever asked, what kind of man do I think Dr. Keller is, I'd have to replay, a Christian man indeed.  He is a kind, caring and giving man.  One of the most gentle people, I have ever had the pleasure of calling my friend.  Dr. Keller gives freely to others, never expecting anything in exchange for what he does for anyone.  If you ever have the pleasure of knowing him, your life has been blessed.  I am thankful for the blessing of being able to call him my friend.

To Everyone at Plantation,

Thank you for the excellent care you give to all of my animals.  Thank you for listening to any concerns I have about my pets and my livestock.  I feel confident that any animal I bring in will receive the best care possible.  You have always provided an environment that excels in service and care.  It is well worth the hour and a half drive that it takes me to get there!

God Bless,
